I've placed this language translation key at the front of Our book and on this website in order to assist others in gaining greater insight and clarity into the meaning and intent of Our AfraKamaatik® Hatkau Kat™, trusting that it will be both useful and insightful.
When I was a graduate student at the University of Chicago [researching and studying the available written materials and objects that were cataloged or housed there in the libraries, including those of the Oriental Institute to inform my own metaphysical imagery] I was Guided by DivineShe™ to interpret and translate Our Ancient Hatkau Kat™ in a unique and unconventional manner. One which I was also Guided to understand was closer to the original language lexicon and metaphysical intent of Our early TaNubian™ matriarchal temple schools.
These unique interpretations and spellings, were / are mean to engender, summon and divinely manifest particular & specific energetic personifications and vibratory essences of DivineShe™, that are in Harmonic Alignment with Our AfraKamaatik®, Afrakan® and Afracentrik® SpiraCultural™ Teachings.
Again, I will reiterate that ALL of the available materials related to Ancient Kamaat™ are merely "educated" translation, and interpretation of the remaining texts and artifacts by independent or employed researchers . . . and that long ago DivineShe™ Guided me to develop and use Our uniquely interpreted and translated lexicon rather than those which were available during the early 70s, because they were heavily biased by their Western, Eurocentric and patriarchal world-view.
Since it has come to pass that over the course of some 20-30 years, a number of Our/ my unique AfraKamaatik® language, lexicon and spelling have been "borrowed" by some Afrocentric scholars and a few Women's Spirituality scholars, leaving it's readership to believe that these "borrowings" are merely part of the general lexicon of those particular schools of thought; I wish to clarify here the importance of Our maintaining / attributing / preserving Our unique lexicon within Our SpiraCultural™ tradition has brought us to place marks on almost EVERYTHING, which, at times is very bothersome to Our readership , but I trust that you'll understand and bare with us, around this decision, given Our explanation regarding why we've chosen to do so.
Now, while it might be true that some Guiding Principles of Our SpiraCultural™ Path may - at times - intersect with the more popular lexicography and practices of both Afrocentric and Women's Spirituality, it is also important for us to retain and maintain Our unique lexicon, language and fundamental interpretations -- which Maatfully™ Guide and preserve Our unique SpiraCultural™ Practices.
Use of, citations and reference to Our published materials [Our unique language and fundamental interpretations] should retain Our original language in a complete state and all marks must be maintained along with a citation reference, and the original intent and meaning must be retained when doing so.
If you are using any part of this book /website for commercial gain, written permissions must be obtained previous to doing so.
Our Afrakan® /AfraKamaatik® Language Key:
Be Maatful™ about what you say . . .
your Words are Magik Wands . . .
That direct your energies to BECOME what you say . . .
~ AfraShe Asungi, HHHAS
Aboundance™ :
to be fully supplied with what is needed -to be plentiful in what you have available for you. I have coined and chosen to use this term because it more closely approximates an African-Womin™-centered worldview than does the word "abundance".
In many earth-based traditions, particularly those in Africa, one finds a common sociocultural attitude is that abundance and seeking abundance for oneself is socially insulting and spiritually selfish - particularly if others in one's family / village / community are not equally as well-to-do. It's also believed that when someone seeks to amass too much material wealth that DivineShe™ will intervene and that ill-fate will plague that person.
For example. if someone blatantly "shows off" their own good fortune without concern for the situation of others not as fortunate, the Laws of Maat and Shaai™ will often be "justified", by causing a series of mishaps [even death at times] in that person's life.
Many African people believe that a person who is too arrogant about having material abundance will inevitably experience a series of metaphysical mishaps that often result in losing things which GuardianMa™ know are very dear to them. There is an Afrikan saying that, “Abundance is the servant of the Guardians”.
Akh:
Family AnSistahs™ to whom we make supplications and offerings.
Cowrie [Cowry] [Karaa] Shells:
Cowries shells have long been considered Sacred and valuable [often as monetary currency] throughout the whole of Afrika, for a number of reasons, among them because they were considered material manifestations of the Ocean Mama's Vagina of Life-Regenerating Abundance, because of their shape, which was thought to resemble a Womin's™ vagina, which was also considered Sacred and Life-regenerating.
Ka:
Vital Life Force Spirit.
Kamaat™:
is Our Modern AfraKamaatik® translation for "Kmt" the names of the Two Unified Lands, TaNubia™ [Taset / Nubia] & TaMeri [Egypt].
KaraSheBa Ma™:
Our salutary greeting which means,"I behold and salute the Maatfully™ Ordered, DivineShe™ Radiance and Light in you . . . "
KaaSheBaa™:
Created by AfraShe Asungi, HHHAS and first celebrated in 1990, KaaSheBaa™ is Our modern, Afracentrik ® interpretation of the Winter Solstice Rites of Ancient Kamaat™, which AfraShe Maatfully™ re-covered and re-named the “Sheraa Ascension Mysteries of Coming Forth Unified in the Divine Radiance of the Day" (or as AfraShe likes to say . . . "The Diva Ascension Mysteries), since these rituals observed the seasonal cycle of Winter's Ending and Spring 's Becoming" . . . [honoring that this cycle of Rebecoming is Reflected in the Greater Kasmik Mama SheConsciousness™ which WE ALL innately have, but rarely develop] . . ."
"In my analysis, it is this lack of Self–development (Attunement) that we find as a find as a primary cause of Our physical and mental "dis-eases". We also call this Awakened and Enlightened Awareness, "Living in Everyday Maatfulness™". . ."
Kamami Ka™:
Our salutary greeting which means, "May you be Blessed to live Maatfully™ in SistahPeaceful™ WellBalance™ . . . "
Maati-Natriaan™ Astralogical Mystical Spiritual Science™:
Actually Our NaatraMa™ are the Elemental GuardianMa™ presiding over one of the most advanced systems of spirituality ever conceived in humin history.
They embody a remote metaphysical understanding of how of Our Most Ancient Kasmik DivineShe™ Principles of Enlightened Maati-Natriaan™ [Astralogical™] Mystical Being engenders a firm basis for Our Immortal Soul's Spiritual Evolution and is the Spiritual Pathway for manifesting and sustaining a viable social culture of peace on earth and a "Spiritually healthy" global society.
Their Symbolic depiction is thought to be a "flag" composed of 9 bunches of papyrus reeds tied together onto the end of a longer staff, composed of reeds, which is divided into 3 parts.
Maat:
Our Mama of Purposeful Knowing for Harmonious and WellBalanced™ Living . . . ™. Our Timeless Universal Law of Harmonious Order [that everything and every Being has an appointed place and established Way of functioning], Truth, Justice, and social "correctness". As a Divine Personification of Mami Ka™, Our Divine Mama Maat, is the metaphysical embodiment of the unified harmonic energetic dynamics of Our GuardianMa™, Asat™ and Nebhat™, among other things.
For Our Divine Immortal Soul in The Great Judgment (Psychostasia), She becomes "Twice Maat". And one of these doubled Maat Personifications will "become" the dead Soul's SheConsciousness™, [The GoodHeart™ as She Who is True Of Voice], while as the second Maat, becomes Kasmik™ SheConsciousness™ [She Who is the Judge of Souls]. One's GoodHeart™ is then measured [weighed] on Maat's Divine Scales of Karmik Balance against Shuat, the Kasmik ™ Weightless Feather of Maat, where one's GoodHeart™ expresses feelings, passions and actions.
If that expression is measured as being too heavy, one risks drawing the Divine Immortal Soul (Ba) back again towards Earth.
Here, we find the timeless root-concept of Rebirth/Regeneration, or Reincarnation of the Divine Immortal Soul, when measured too heavy to blend/ reunify in Kasmik Equilibrium [the Kasmik Dance of Balanced Harmony] is then drawn back as another Life Experience, because the Divine Immortal Soul, needs to remain on the Material Plane--not yet Being able [ready] to dwell on the Kasmik Spiritual Plane reunified with Our Universal Mama, Mami Ka™.
As Our GuardianMas™ of Rebirth and Regeneration, Asat™ and Nebhat™ are "Shentiit"; They who preside over the (rebirth) cycles (reincarnation of the Divine Soul). Asat, as Our Celestial Mama is: gold and clear sky blue and is the Moon. Nebhat, as Mystic Intuition is: silver and sea water green and is the [like Olukun / some say Neptune] the great depths of the ocean. They represent the Eastern equivalent of Yen and Yang of positive and negative (often limited to being male and female in patrifocal societies) and Dynamik Kasmik Energetic Currents of the Life Force.

Ori :

Prayer as invokation/ incantation/ praise songs: Prayer is seen as away to make something manifest into being or be removed from being by the adherent requesting the Supreme Source and DivineShe [in any and all of Her many Personifications] for Her Universal energetic assistance and interventions that will SheCreatively ReShape™ a situation or outcome of a situation or problem to bring about some sort of beneficial change.
Even today, among AA folks we have a saying which honors this ageless Afrikan MaatiScience™, "just say it into being . . ." These sacred rituals of prayerful petition are often enacted using repetition of tonality, rhythm , words, in their voices . . .
Prayer was given as a form of thanks and gratitude for the everyday blessings [BOTH seen and unseen] of good health, prosperity, longevity, clarity of mind, coolness of heart, patience, family, trustworthy friends, strength, peaceful disposition, good character and spiritual wisdom and enlightenment and DivineShe benevolence.
Shaai™ :
One's Fate or Karma - Our own deeds and actions (One Divine Personification of Meskhenet- four GuardianMa™ Who along with the 7 Hatheras™ preside over birth & celestial resurrection) Shaai preside over Our GoodHeart™ which is the Seat of Our Immortal Soul, which is judged by Our own deeds and actions, (Meskhenet) which, when Divinely measured against the Divine Truth of Maat, should weigh no more than an Ostrich feather, whose physical lightness is the material and energetic equivalent of Maat [Our Guiding Principle of Virtuous Living and Enlightened Spiritual Evolution through Right Action and Harmony with the Universal Laws Of Enlightened Being].
Self-Clarity™:

She' ™:
Afrakan® and AfraKamaatik® word for the [Divine] Breath of life and spiritual energetic force which is Sourced in Mami Ka™, the Great Mysterious Supreme Source of the Universe, all life and material and non-material and non-living Being.
Shekara™:
The metaphysical life-energy seats in the physical /ethereal body, the most popularly know are the 7 Shekaras™ along the spine, which are thought to be joined together like the rungs of ladder. They are metaphysical gateways, with which we [through learning certain practices] can access and utilize, a variety of psycho-spiritual States of SheConsciousness™ and energetic interactions.
SistahPeaceful™ WellBalance™ :
The psycho-spiritual practice Living in Everyday Maatfulness™ - the practice of the Enlightened State of Harmonious Being. During KaaSheBaa™ it means using Our daily Centering Medaffirmations™ by either meditating, reciting or reflecting on it's meaning during the day. Allow it's ReShaping™ Wisdom to become a proactive message which Maatfully™ Guides your thoughts and Heartful Inner-Awareness throughout each Day.
TaMeri:
Translates as "beloved seat" - another name for Lower Kamaat™ [Egypt] among other things.
TaNubia™:
The Original indigenous inhabitants of Ancient the land of Upper Kamaat™, the Sudan and Delta regions of north-east Afrika, which was DivineShe™ [GoddessMama™] centered or rooted, including lineage, spiritual and inheritance distinction.
Taset [TaNubia™]:
the Spiritual Seat of Golden Source [Radiant Coming into Being and Restoration] the 1st nome / [Abu/ Elephantine] of upper Kamaat™ . The Ancients recorded that they were originally a colony of "sun-kissed" Aethiopians from the Upper Lands and of the Source of the Nile who expanded over time to live in the Delta Lands Lower Kamaat™.
Over time, the names “Aethiopian,” “Nubian,” "Punt" and “Kushite” were commonly used to describe the"sunkissed" peoples of Kamaat™. In more modern times, while the lands of Lower Kamaat™ are popularly called Egypt; the Lands of Upper Kamaat™, which came to be known as "Nubia" is currently called the Sudan.
While a MFA candidate at the University of Chicago, in the early 70s, I was Divinely Guided to realize and espouse that predynastik TaNubia™ was the seat of the [long denied and ignored] Afrikan Matriarchal Enlightened SheMystery™ system and that the prolonged struggle throughout the whole of dynastik times was rooted in the growing patriarchal take over of the ancient Kamaatik™ SheMystery™ temple-schools and Royal Lineage / Regent families.
And that much of the evidence which actually substantiated the matriarchal presence was destroyed when much of ancient lands were flooded by the Aswan dam, which some assert was a deliberate eradication of the evidence of Our matriarchal Afrikan origins.
Theurgical:
Theurgy describes the practice of spiritual rituals, sometimes seen as magikal in nature, performed with the intention of invoking the action or evoking the presence of one or more personifications of DivineShe™, especially with the goal of uniting with the DivineShe™, achieving henosis (meaning mystical "Oneness," "union," or "unity, with the Fundamental Principles of the Reality of Being [harmoniously unified with] the One, the Source or Monad) and perfecting [Enlightening] One's Self.
Tepit Nefert™:
Our Afrakan™ salutary blessing, greeting and WellCome™ which simply put, means, "Supreme Peace", among other things.
